About

We’ve lived through the unimaginable. Now we’re using those experiences to build understanding, spark hope, and create change.

Mission

Voices of Injustice exists to amplify the stories of those wrongfully convicted, educate communities about injustices within our legal system, and advocate for meaningful reform through speaking engagements, artistic expression, and resource sharing.

vision

We envision a justice system where wrongful convictions are prevented through education, accountability, and systemic change—and where those who have experienced injustice find healing, purpose, and community.

our impact

Since forming Voices of Injustice, we have:

  • Spoken to thousands of students across Ohio about justice reform and prevention
  • Created and performed “The Lynched Among Us,” a powerful stage play about wrongful conviction
  • Advocated for currently incarcerated individuals with credible claims of innocence
  • Connected families with vital resources and support networks
  • Built partnerships with legal clinics, advocacy organizations, and educational institutions
  • Established the Exoneree House, providing housing for wrongfully convicted individuals upon release

But our greatest impact comes from the conversations we start—and the perspectives we change. When someone leaves our presentation or performance with new understanding, that’s where real change begins.
